KALISPELL MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHER

Sometimes you walk away from a photography session and just know you captured a little magic. This Kalispell, Montana maternity session was just that. The gorgeous mom, the sweet family, and the unbelievable sky and mountain views! This is one of my favorite locations on the Flathead River in Kalispell as I love the water, the mountains, and even the texture from the rocks.

This session was captured right at the beginning of Fall in the Flathead Valley so the colors were just starting to change but the trees still had so many leaves for some gorgeous foliage. This is baby number two for this family and as you can tell, big sister is pretty excited for the newest family member to arrive. I can’t to photograph their little one in just a few short weeks!

WONDERING WHEN TO BOOK A MATERNITY SESSION?

I generally recommend that once you reach your second trimester and start feeling well, it’s time to book your maternity session to ensure a spot on my calendar. I usually try to schedule maternity sessions around the 7th to 8th month of pregnancy.

SHOULD YOU INCLUDE YOUR FAMILY?

Absolutely! I’m always happy to photograph mom on her own but I absolutely encourage you to include your immediate family. This is such a special time and I would love to document your beautiful belly but also want to document everything your family is feeling as you wait for baby to arrive.
