One of my favorite things about being a Boise maternity photographer is the opportunity to explore new locations and find hidden gems. OK, so many of them aren’t exactly hidden but they’re new to me and always so fun to photograph.

This Boise maternity session did not disappoint! I had been to the Military Reserve Park years ago but had never actually hiked any trails around the area. I adore the Boise foothills and all the muted tones, tall grass, and gorgeous hills, perfect for a portrait session.

I also just love the wood fence that runs along this trail. There are so many opportunities for gorgeous photos without even walking very far. The great thing about Boise is you can go from desert to mountains to river and get so much variety in your photo sessions! Check out one of my favorite locations for maternity photos here.
