Rainbow baby sessions are one of the most special sessions to photograph! What is a Rainbow Baby? This is the term used for a newborn baby that follows a loss such as miscarriage, stillbirth, or death during infancy. So as you can imagine, these sessions are often filled with emotion, from sorrow to joy.

Sweet Riley came to see me at about two weeks old and Mom specifically requested a photo of her two babies with a rainbow since they are both Rainbow Babies! This older brother was so sweet and so proud of his new sister!

I genuinely love this job and I can hardly even call it a job because it’s such a passion and a joy for me to work with so many babies and families. I love it even more when I can deliver sweet photos like these to families who have had so much loss.
